Oh My Tian

Oh My Tian! 哦我的天!

carnival-themed café that is located at the neighbourhood Whampoa.
The café opened on 15 January 2016 and there is still crowd over there.
Recommend you to make a reservation before you head down.

When I reach this place the signboard caught my eyes.
That a simple name Oh My Tian!
Makes me feel that "what kind of food they would bring out?".
Does it mean that when I eat them I will feel 哦我的天啊!
Haha. Is that the café owner wants us to bring out?
Hmm let's see.

With this big poster, you might know what to choose for the food. A big big breakfast for breakie or brunch.
"OMT" open daily except Monday's
From noon to 10pm (last order 9.30pm)
The timing is pretty good for neighbourhood Café.

The interior design of this café are very beautiful.

As you can notice there are different interior designs at different corners, that's makes it looks very unique and feel the different theme at different corner. It's just feel so nostalgia.

Menu written on the Black Board.

The place have quite a numbers of tables, but mostly for 2pax-4pax.
I feel is not suitable for a group of more than 10pax.

When I first step in, this pinkie carousels makes me think of my childhood memories.
Every kids would love to ride on it.
Now you are able to enjoy this while siting inside one small corner and enjoy yummy food.
But this small corner is mainly for more than 4pax is good for a family or a friends gathering (6-7pax).

A mini corner of Complimentary Ice water and sauces.

Little Pinkie Mushroom table Lamp near this corner table, the seats facing the window with car park view.
For people who like to have some personal Me time to drink some coffee etc. can sit at this corner.

Here goes the Menu, there are quite a number of variety here as you can see.
I will go with a Cutlet IOI, a Curly fries with Salted Eye Yolk Sauce and a OMT Big Breakfast.

I order nothing for the drinks as I don't drink coffee.
I just go well with the ice water will do ^^

Tadah! My OMT Big Breakfast (All day) - S$16.00.
It comes with two Sunny Side ups, Bovril Garlic Toast, Turkey Ham, Chicken Sausage, Hashbrown, Grilled Tomato and Grilled Portobello.
A more close up look on the food.

The Toast is hard. I don't prefer the toast. other then that the food was normal but Grilled Tomato is very nice, its not too soft and it is very sweet, I like it. The Grilled Portobello taste good too. But for my personal opinion I feel I can cook my own the same thing so I feel nothing much special for this dish.
Rate: 3.5/5.

Cutlet IOI, Taiwanese Style Marinated Chicken Thigh with Homemade Sour Plum Sause and Curly Fries - S$16.90

The Cutlet is crispy outside and tender inside, I prefer this over the OMT Big Breakfast, of cause I myself a meat lover would really love this dish. The plum sauce taste good and it match well with the culet. It give a sweet and sour taste of it, kind of special and the curly fries is my favourite too. The OMT Curly Fries is more crispy than the MacDonald one.
Rate: 4/5.

The Curly Fries- S$ 8.00
The Ala Cart Curly fries come with a choice of either a Salted Egg Yolk Sauce or A Truffle Mayo Cheese Sauce. I picked the salted egg one. The salted egg yolk sauce is very thick. Personal I like it very much. I like the salted egg sauce that match so well with the crispy curly fries. you might want to try it. oh yummy.

OMT Waffles - S$5.50
Waffles with 1 Scoop of ice cream - S$8.50
Add on 2nd Scoop of ice cream - S$3.00
Add on 3rd Scoop of ice cream - S$2.50

I order a cookies and cream ice-cream with OMT waffles.
Highly recommended this waffles, outside crispy inside soft, you might want to add some sauce on it that is available at S$0.50 each. They have Salted Caramel, Chocolate, Espresso Butterscotch and Maple & butter.
My personal favourites the Chocolate sauce that really match well with the cookies and cream ice-cream.
Rate: 4.5/5.

Such a full fill day for a nice brunch out here. I will definitely return to try out the other dishes in the menu with my friends.!

I give a rate of 3.5/5.

Lobster salad. Rate 3/5

Fresh lobster, looks really good but I didn't get to eat them as my stomach overloaded with all the cook food haha.

Here come with the pumpkin crab!
This taste so nice.
Personally I don't like pumpkin but this is good.
The crab is fresh. I waited for 2 mins for chef to make it hot for me. Worth to try.
Rate 4/5.

Next, steam lobster with Yuzu sauce.
They serve it hot.
The meat is soft is pretty decent but I don't taste any yuzu sauce in it. Give them a rate of 3/5.

Finally the baked lobster with mayo I guess.
I feel abit overloaded with mayo or some white cream sauce. But inside the meat is tender.
Rate 3.5/5

Oh ya, there have this small little station for you to mix your baby crab salad.
The baby crab taste abit spicy, but still acceptable, you can mix with some peanuts, fresh tomato, lime juice, long beans and many more small little ingredient and mix it together.
I mixed and eat them with kolopok (prawn cracker)
Taste abit crunchy and spicy, something new for me to try on.
Rate 3.5/5.

Sawaadeekaaa~ Bangkok Trip 4 days 3 nights - Day 4

Sawadekaa ~ Bkk Trip 20160721 - 20160724
Bangkok trip 4 days 3 nights

Day 4 (Sunday) - eat & shop, fly back to sg

Aww, last day of my trip here in Bangkok,  4 days is never enough.
My flight departure at 5.35 pm Bkk time. So I call the hotel to request for late check out and manage to check out at 1.00pm.

So I still left with the morning for me to get my last shopping with my sister.
Woke up at 8.30 today, decide to go to pratunum market for the last war!

Hungry in the morning and saw this food stall, just omelette with rice cost me 30baht, aww the food just so nice for me at the early in the morning it fill up my stomach with just this simple kind of food.

One thing I love Bangkok is their street food. I always love to try their street food as it is so tempting. No harm to try right.

Breakfast for the day, heavy breakfast!

After 2-3hours shopping we cross the road to platinum macdonald to eat their pork burger.
As Singapore don't sell pork burger due to halah.
So I went to Thailand must try their pork burger.

The fries was crispy and hot, burger was not what I expected and it taste different from the past.
I feel the pork getting thinner compare to the one I ate 2 years ago. Aww.
But still not so bad to eat them.

Oh ya, on the way to macdonald I saw one street stall that sell fried chicken, I can tell you is a must to try out their fried chicken if you are a chicken lover.
It is hot and crispy but abit salty.
I love the taste is better then the fried chicken I eat in Singapore and a drumstick only cost me only 20baht!
Very cheap right just less then a dollar to get a drumstick!

This is how the size of the drumstick look like. Totally worth buying ok.

Oh and of cause I always come here to take photo with Mr. Ronald hehe.
Hehe saw my laopo! 😘 Sawadeekaa~
we didn't travel together but just coincident to see each other's on the last day of our trip ☺️.

After our lunch we get back to hotel to check out and put our lagguge at the lobby.
We booked an airport transport van at the hotel cost us 700 baht. Well we still have 1 hour before the van arrive at 2.30 pm. So we went to palladium mall it is just beside our hotel, we search for a quick 40 min foot massage for just 150 baht.

First time let a man massage my leg for me lol. Overall worth the price. You cant complain for the price 150 baht.

Time pass fast and time for us to departure soon. Otw to Singapore.

Bought this Mango Sticky Rice at airport for 180baht, it is damn expensive compare to the street one, street one only cost u 100 baht.

What to do, but I just miss the food so I just buy and bring back to Singapore and share with my parent.

Rushing rushing to get on to the plane! See the sunset, took a nap on the plane.

Finally after 2.30hours I reached Singapore. Aww my heart haven fly back with me. Haha. It would just nice if I extend my trip one more day at 5 days 4 night.

Packed my stuff and this is all my loots! Without counting in the tibits I bought at big C.
My total expenses only 400-500plus ☺️

Bought a lot shoes as the shoes cost me 100-150 baht each
Home slippers - 50-79baht each
Slanders - 150 baht each
Two bag - 175 baht each
Shirt & Tee - 150-250 baht each

Aww so worth the price.

Such a fulfilled trip.
I will be back!

Sawaadeekaaa~ Bangkok Trip 4 days 3 nights - Day 3

Sawadekaa ~ Bkk Trip 20160721 - 20160724
Bangkok trip 4 days 3 nights

Day 3 (Saturday) - eat & shop

Today woke up abit late cause yesterday too tired already.

Heading downstair to walk around hotel went to their 7-11 and bought a banana milk for my breakfast.

The soymilk come with many type of flavours. They have chocolate, original, milk tea and banana.

After that we took 2 tutu cab down to Chatuchak for just 100 baht.
So cheap right!
But you need to let them drive you to a fashion shop and a big bee farm for the tutu driver to earn some stamps to let them gain free petrol.
So we agreed and start our journey.

The fashion shop was nothing much, just for guys to tailor made their shirt and suit. We just pass by for 2-3 mins and head down to big bee farm.

The big bee farm introduces you about honey etc. They will give a short talk to talk about how to identify the real honey.

End up I didn't buy anything I just bought a bottle of honey lemon water for just 30 baht.

The lemon honey water was too sweet for me >_<. Just buy and try if you like honey.

Finally we reach Chatuchak around 11.30am. Weather was hot >_<.
Suggest you come at early morning so you won't get sun burn.

Chatuchak only open on weekend.
Located near BTS Mochit (N8) exit 1

Beside Magma the right side is one BTS station, don't really remember is which station. But i feel take tutu or taxi is better compare to BTS kinda crowded.

Searching for some food to settle my brunch. So we just went to some random shop and eat.

60 baht, Paht Thai.

50 baht, Mince Pork with Basil Leaves Rice.

50 baht, Fried Rice with Slice pork.

100 baht, Tom Yum Goong.

The soup have 4 prawn and some mushroom. Overall the food taste not as I expected. Forgot the name of this stall. Won't recommend to come here and eat again.

After brunch we continue our shopping again.
Chatuchak is too big you would get lost over there. I just Walk around without the map and saw this coconut Icecream.

1 for 35 baht, worth the price!
A must to eat them.

You get to choose two topping so I choose nata coco and peanut. It is so refreshing.

After that I walk pass a stop that have many food stall and it sell tons of food. Was too full to eat the main dishes so I just bought one fried chicken thigh.
30 baht for one. Worth the price too!

The chicken is hot and crispy.
I really love Bangkok fried chicken, Just so nice and taste so good.
You get to put some sause that you want so I just get some Thai sweet chilli and mayo. Aww taste so good.

After the 2 hours of shopping we took a cab over to Union mall.

Union mall (11am-10pm)
Located at Ladprao Soi 1, Bangkok, Thailand 10900

Cab down from Chatuchak around 100-150 baht.
There are some stalls for you to shop around but I still prefer pratunum and platinum mall.
Nothing much here so we went to a dessert cafe to rest and have some bite.

Kyo Roll En cafe
There are plenty of outlet at Bangkok.

I ordered one set of strawberry matcha roll cake, it come with matcha Icecream and another black I think is charcoal Icecream.

I love the cake it so soft and the filling is just nice with strawberry flavours. So yummy.

After that we head back to hotel and put our loots have some rest and prepare to head to Yaowarat to have our dinner.

Yaowarat (Chinatown)

The people there know how to speak mandarin. So communication wise is very easy. We took cab down, many driver request for 300 baht etc. end up we take one with 250 baht due to jam, many taxi driver increase the price.

We went to Nam shin
They are famous with bird nest and shark fin.

Refreshing bird nest.

Shark fin soup. Just a small bowl cost me 1000 baht.

After that we went to famous seafood stall T&K.

Waited awhile for the seats. Order some food.

Lemongrass fish. Aww I love this. The fish is so fresh it is abit spicy. A must to try. Would come back to eat again.

Cereal prawn, just 4 prawn per plate.

Crab fried eggs & hum.

Fried egg rice. Aww I love the rice very nice. That day we were too full so didn't order a lot of food that night.

After makan, we took taxi (140 baht) back to central world. Outside central world have some night stalls that sell clothes, bags, food etc. so we decide to walk back the area to our hotel.

After a long long day we got no time to get leg massage. Just get to pack my stuff in my hand carry bagguge and is time to sleep. Aww 3 days ended so fast.
